Clan Lyon Association of Canada (1995-present) (www.clanlyon.ca)Mr. Lyon founded the association in the early nineties and has served as President since its founding. Mr. Lyon is the chief family history researcher and has been doing research since 1971. Mr. Lyon also designed, see developed and has maintained the association’s website for over 15 years. For several years Mr. Lyon travelled to Highland Games and Celtic Festivals in Eastern Ontario to participate in Clan Villages by setting a Clan Tent/Table where attendees could come and inquire on Scottish Family History and the association.

 

Tanglewood Hillsdale Community Association (1995-2012)As Treasurer and then Bookkeeper Mr. Lyon has maintained the Financial Records of and prepared the Financial Statements for the community association since 1996. The Financials Records include: General Ledger; General Journal; Receipts Journal; Membership Register; Deposit Register; Accounts Receivable Ledger; Disbursements Journal; Payroll Journal; Cheque Register; Accounts Payable Ledger; Back Reconciliations; Trial Balances; Balance Sheets; Revenue and Expense Statements; and Statements of Working Capital.Mr. Lyon also designed, ask developed and maintained the association’s website (www.thca.ca) for over 15 years.Other Positions and Offices held:
